About Catch

Catch Limited is an award-winning software company with offices in San Francisco and Auckland. We make test management, execution, and integration tools that help QA professionals get more out of their testing effort.

Our flagship product, Enterprise Tester, was released in early 2009 and is now used by QA teams globally, including teams at Intel, Cox Communications, eBay, Sony, Sky TV, Air New Zealand, and the US Navy. Built by QA professionals for QA professionals, Enterprise Tester provides testers with easy management of test plans, execution sets, requirements, and incidents. We have no sales people - our products are free to try, our pricing is published online, and we release a new version of Enterprise Tester every 6-8 weeks, so are quick to respond to customer feedback and requests.

Integration with requirements management and issue management tools is a key piece of the puzzle, since it allows the creation of an end-to-end solution across the development lifecycle. For the past four years, Catch has partnered closely with Sparx Systems and Atlassian to achieve this.

Having evolved from a consulting company, we still retain these roots and offer training and consulting services around Enterprise Tester and partner products. The aim for us is to work with organisations to reduce corporate risk, through good project governance and integrated end-to-end toolset solutions, and that starts and ends with the QA team.

Executive Team

Bryce Day brings 15 years of deep domain knowledge in testing and software end-to-end processes. Bryce founded Catch in 2004, and has been CEO since that time. Bryce consults in software process development and test management and has been the driving force behind the development of Enterprise Tester. He has authored several papers on software testing and has made multiple speaking engagements.
