Enterprise Tester 4.7

Integration with Rally User Stories & Child User Stories

With Enterprise Tester 4.7 we're giving you the ability to integrate with Rally's powerful agile project management software. This new functionality provides bi-directional synchronization of user stories and child user stories, so that Rally users can benefit from the same great features that our Atlassian and Sparx Systems users already enjoy:

• Support for synchronization of custom fields

Time-saving Features for Test Planning and Execution

We've not just focused on big features in this release, we've also added some time-saving additions to our functionality for our existing users. You can copy test steps in the Script Library. This improves ease of use when creating test cases where similar steps are already documented. We have also added a new stopwatch feature that automatically populates the actual time field while you are testing.

JIRA 5+ (BETA) Plugin

JIRA 5+ (BETA) Plugin

Our new JIRA 5+ plugin supports JIRA 5.2 and above (including the new JIRA 6) and makes a complete move to the REST API. This removes the limitation of using SOAP and opens up a raft of new features to JIRA 5.2 and JIRA 6 users, including support for synchronizing sub-tasks for requirements and improved status change and workflow transitions.

 
Not on JIRA 5.2 yet? Don't worry we're not planning on removing the current JIRA integration just yet. Enterprise Tester will continue to support JIRA 4.x until October 2014.

Enterprise Tester 4.6

Scheduled Import of Automated Test results with Duette 2.0*

With the ability to schedule the import of automated results into Enterprise Tester on a periodic, daily or ad hoc basis, you can ensure you have your automated test results available when you need them. Configure your import schedule once and never think about it again.

 
This is a much requested feature, so we look forward to you upgrading to Enterprise Tester 4.6 and Duette 2.0 to try out the new functionality!

New Run History Screens & Charts

View the status of all of your test runs over time. The new run history screen allows you to view run history within and across projects and scripts, while the dynamic widgets and grid allow you to drill down to the specific run data that matters to you. View run history across all of your automated* and manual testing results in Enterprise Tester.

A New Way to View Automated Test Results*

Another new feature for Duette users allows you to filter on the status of your automated test results and add additional notes, making the information captured in Enterprise Tester even richer.

Plus... loads of enhancements

As always we have added a lot of enhancements to existing functionality in this release, including support for more unicodes and delimiters for CSV import (our favorite enhancement).
